Whether you are having IVF already, or are considering it as an option, there are many therapies we offer at the Alma Vale Centre that are here to help you along this journey

IVF – or in vitro fertilisation to give it its full name – has helped many women who have fertility difficulties to conceive and go on to have a longed-for child.

But for many women, it can be a daunting, but at the same time exciting, route to embark on. Here at the Alma Vale Centre, with our focus on women’s health and fertility, we have many therapies that are available to help support you and contribute to giving your body the best chance of the IVF being a success.

Challenges ahead

As well as the physical affects on the body of undergoing hormone treatment, of having eggs removed, sperm taken, then hopefully a successful implantation of an embryo, there are also the emotional affects to take into account too. For many, this can be a stressful and worrying time – as well as a time of excitement and hopefulness.

Others may struggle with the psychological impact of feeling that their body has not been able to conceive naturally or of being anxious about how they will cope with the process ahead of them.

The therapies we offer can help with all of these aspects.

Stages of help

You may be considering going through IVF, and would like support in deciding if it is the best decision for you. Or perhaps you have made the decision to go ahead with IVF and are looking to have treatment now to start preparing your body for this. You may have already started IVF treatment, and are looking for support at that stage. Or you may have been through IVF and have not had the outcome you were hoping for. Whatever stage you are at, our practitioners are here to help in whatever way they can.

This week, just a few of our practitioners share how their particular therapy could be of help. Look out for our blogs each day this week to find out more:
