The aim of Kinesiology is to work holistically with clients to address their imbalances and rebalance their system in order to work towards optimal health and well-being.
Kinesiology as we know it today has been around for over 60 years. An American chiropractor named Dr. Goodheart, identified that by massaging the beginnings and ends of a muscle, he could increase its strength. He taught this technique to chiropractors, osteopaths and doctors and, over time, in also working with Chinese medical theory they discovered links between muscle response, meridian energy and related organs. He became famous for being able to solve problems that no-one else could.
Kinesiology has been in the UK since 1988 and is now one of the fastest growing holistic health therapies in the western world.
How does Kinesiology work?
Based on biofeedback from the muscle test, we can identify exactly what is involved and devise a plan. Suggestions and advice may include incorporation of foods, nutritional supplements, relaxation and other techniques, lifestyle changes and more.
Many different factors affect and contribute to our health and well-being and using Kinesiology, clients can be supported to come into better balance and achieve their optimum health and well-being.
