Helen Fielding

Helen Fielding was first inspired to study Chinese medicine as a result of learning and then teaching taiji qian (tai chi) from the 1970s.

Since then she has undertaken many postgraduate studies.

Even though Helen’s training is deeply rooted in ancient East Asian wisdom, she studied European and Chinese Herbal medicine, which she have been practising for over 30 years. Helen subsequently spent 13 years learning Tibetan medicine.

Helen Fielding has been involved in teaching most of her working life. This includes herbal medicine, paediatrics, gynaecology and she particularly enjoys clinical supervision. Currently, Helen is researching and writing about how acupuncture transmitted into Britain since 1959.

In clinical work Helen Fielding has a special interest in women’s health issues and fertility, muscular-skeletal dysfunction and finding the solution to unexplained pain. All of these are excellent subjects for Chinese Medicine.

Having received acupuncture over the past 30 years from a number of practitioners I feel confident in placing Helen among the most qualified, professional and competent, not to mention having a big heart.

She has been a life-saver on many occasions for me. – J.B. (Bristol)

Acupuncture & Chinese Herbs Success Stories

Having received treatment from many different acupuncture practitioners over the years, I can confidently say that both Helen and Jill are up there with the best.

Their long experience and their knowledge of the two major theoretical approaches in Chinese medicine, including the use of herbs, makes them quite possibly the best in Bristol.

Helen kept me sane.
– M.J.B. (London SE1)

Helen was my first acupuncturist. She has supported me through redundancy, retraining and flight from the rat-race – I’m now an acupuncturist myself – and I still have ‘MOT’ treatments from Helen.
– S.B. (Surrey)

I have been seeing Helen Fielding for many years now and I keep coming back due to the amazing results I always see every session. The treatment she applies to my body is in total response to what is most effective for it specifically – no more, no less -bringing about very positive results. I feel very safe in Helen’s capable hands; in fact I’m immensely grateful I have found her.

Fertility Success Stories

Helen Fielding has helped me enormously through the years. She treated me with both acupuncture and herbs through my infertility problems and during IVF, which resulted in the birth of my son. Not only is she a great acupuncturist, but her warmth and compassion made such a difficult time much easier to deal with.
