I have been suffering from chronic neck pain for a number of years as a result of a whiplash injury.  Julie was recommended to me for her superb expertise in acupuncture and her empathetic nature. I have had 3 sessions so far and the results have been better than I ever expected.  She took the time to get to know me and talk through the full history of my neck pain. The treatments have been tailored each session and I’ve found electro acupuncture works wonders! I no longer have the constant nagging pain and look forward to continuing the treatment. Having Saturday and evening appointments available is great with work and I can’t recommend Julie highly enough.

I have been having acupuncture for a few years now and I really feel that it balances me out so well. When we began to look into fertility treatment (having experienced the menopause aged 19, amongst other gynaecological issues, as well as my partner having a low sperm count,  we were told that our chances of success were low!);  I was recommended Julie and Jill at the Alma Vale Centre, as specialists in this particular field of acupuncture. Both Julie and Jill were absolutely wonderful, throughout the process. The treatments were fantastic, and left me feeling calm, relaxed, and most importantly, confident, and more in control of what was happening at the time. The impact of the treatment I received from Julie and Jill was massive. They are so expert in their knowledge and advice, and the treatment we received (and still do) is always so thorough. I feel the effects immediately and this continues after treatment.

We were successful with ICSI treatment on our first attempt! We feel so lucky but I know that we couldn’t have done this without the acupuncture and treatment from Julie and Jill.

We now have beautiful 5 month old twin boys, and I continue to have acupuncture with Julie to rebalance everything following the fertility treatment and pregnancy.
