My background is as an academic researching international mediation. I left academia to embark on alternative healing and grassroots mediation.
My formal training in Shamanism began in 1997 in Australia and the Andes of Peru and Ecuador, Mexico. It continued in England with Northern Drum Shamanic Centre (3 Year Practitioner Training 2003-06) and from 2007-present with The Sacred Trust as an initiate of the Path of Pollen, a women-based tradition based on the shamanic teaching of the honeybee.
My practice is open to all genders, as well as children (3 yrs+) and young people. I see clients looking for support with general wellbeing; self-esteem; relationship difficulties and separation; life choices, bereavement and PTSD.
For over a decade I have specialised on women’s issues and have had the honour of assisting many women through their journeys through: sexual and gender identity, miscarriage and abortion, hysterectomy and menopause and sexual abuse.
In 2001 I returned to the field of practical mediation and conflict resolution and have been teaching conflict resolution skills to adults and young people in various settings ever since.
In 2008 I became an accredited mediator (SPCP and the ADR Group) and trained as Conflict Coach (CAOS Conflict Management). My mediation work has been primarily focused on community groups, housing associations, neighbour disputes and has also encompassed workplace disputes and mediation for couples.
In my spare time I love going for walks, swimming and dancing 5Rhythms and playing with friends!
