Lisa Slater graduated with a BSc (Hons) Acupuncture from the renowned College of Integrated Chinese Medicine. Integrating Five Element Acupuncture with Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) enables her to create individualised treatments to support both physical and emotional health and wellbeing.
More than 30 years ago, Lisa experienced how transformative acupuncture can be when she sought treatment for a range of health issues. She found that acupuncture addressed the root cause of imbalance and supported her body’s natural ability to recover and heal. She benefited from its holistic approach and this has continued throughout all the significant stages of her life.
Lisa has a special interest in women’s health and wellbeing, supporting them at every stage of life; assisting with menstrual issues, fertility, hormonal imbalance, perimenopause and menopause symptoms. She treats a range of health issues including: anxiety, stress, depression, sleep problems, headaches, chronic and acute musculoskeletal issues and pain management. Acupuncture can also be beneficial for those suffering from low energy and with improving general wellbeing.
To complement acupuncture treatment, where needed, Lisa incorporates a range of traditional techniques, which include: Cupping, Moxibustion, Gua Sha, Tui na and lifestyle advice.
