Rowan Jamal studied Aromatherapy and Holistic Massage at the International Federation of Aromatherapist’s course in London. When she moved to Bristol in 2003 she trained in Advanced Massaging Techniques with BCMB and did further training in hot stone massage, Thai massage and training in Energy Healing.
Rowan initially trained at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in 1987 and worked as a musician in many different settings. She always loved scents and natural products and worked in the field of music therapy in London, it was then that she decided to train in Aromatherapy and Massage.
She has worked in Bristol as an Aromatherapist since finishing her training and loves the creativity and healing effects of blending oils and using these in conjunction with massage techniques. She sources her oils carefully and almost solely uses organic oils, mainly from Materia Aromatica.
Rowan Jamal has experience of working with anxiety and addiction. She has also worked with clients who have dementia in a variety of different settings.
In her spare time Rowan enjoys nature, trees, walking and running. She also enjoys photography, drawing and exploring new creating outlets. She has a morning and evening meditation, and spiritual practice.
