Rim Salah has more than 15 years of experience in health care. Before relocating to Bristol, she worked in the Netherlands as a midwife with so much joy and fulfilment, supporting new parents on their incredible journey.
She is now a proud mother of two beautiful daughters, whose presence has influenced her career journey. While the demands of motherhood made it challenging for her to re-join midwifery in Bristol, it led her instead to explore various healthcare services and discover her passion for phlebotomy.
She believes that her skills and approach alleviates the anxiety associated with having blood taken. She is delighted to be part of the Alma Vale Centre, providing exceptional phlebotomy services. This includes taking blood and ensuring it reaches where it needs to go for testing.
Rim is also member of a team that offers training and supervision in phlebotomy for a research organisation.
Outside of her healthcare work, Rim has recently become a trustee of the Refugee Women of Bristol, and is eager to explore this new opportunity.
