Claire Goulding is a Western Medical Herbalist (BSc) and member of the National Institute of Medical Herbalists (NIMH).
Her own menstrual cycles, and being diagnosed with endometriosis, led Claire to explore different ways to manage her symptoms. She found herbs and dietary changes to be the most impactful. Claire’s love for nature, foraging with the seasons, and her passion to pass on this precious knowledge led her to delve deeper into herbalism.
Prior to training in clinical herbalism, she worked as a Forest School leader, and in community engagement roles for charities. She then moved into complementary health because of her interest in women’s health. She has 14 years’ experience working as a massage therapist having trained in Aromatherapy, Indian Head Massage, Reflexology and Holistic Massage.
Her three-year degree in Clinical Herbalism involved training in botany, biochemistry, patho-physiology and herb drug interactions.
Claire sees a range of patients as part of her general practice. She now also specialises in women’s health, prescribing herbs and dietary and lifestyle advice for issues such as hormonal imbalances, skin complaints, mental health, stress, digestion issues and sleep disturbance.
Claire works with each of her patients with care, integrity and a commitment to help unlock the root cause of symptoms to achieve long-lasting changes to their health. She strongly believes that herbal medicine should be accessible and empowering for all.
